Ocotber 4th

I sound like a broken record....but we need help this Sunday! I know it is the day after the fair and many of you will have certainly put in your hours. I am out of town at a family wedding and will not be available. Nan Lansinger is on the schedule...but that is it.

I need volunteers ASAP or I will call the office and tell them no coffee this Sunday.

Please, please send me your days so I can firm up the schedule. (and not beg each Wednesday! :) ).

This week!

Hi Ladies-

We need help this Sunday! I have Suzanne Zelov, Beth Beckett and Joanne Frey on set up. Any volunteers for clean up? We are having cake to celebrate Tom and Lucy's arrival at St. David's.

I hope you all got the evite to our next coffee social. It's October 13th...bring a friend (and new volunteer!) and get a door prize!

3 Things

First, we will not be doing lemonade/ice tea this Sunday due to the All Parish Picnic. We will resume coffee hour the next Sunday, Sept. 18th. I need some volunteers! Please. :)

Second, I would like to make sure the kitchen is in order. We might need to collect the coffee urns and make sure we have all the supplies we need. I will be at Choir dinner next Wednesday (the 14th). If you have a few minutes to help, meet me in the upstairs kitchen at 6:15. Thanks in advance.

Third, it is turning out to be a BUSY year for me and I would like to play a smaller role in Coffee hour. I also think it would be a good idea to set up "term limits". If you would like to help, or have an idea of how to structure such a thing, please let me know. (one idea...someone volunteer to help me this year, then they take over next year-with a partner, then the partner takes the lead role the following year, etc. Thoughts?)

Okay, one more thing....look for more info to come...coffee social in early/middle October. Vicki Higgins offered to host. Thanks, Vicki!

September is here!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all enjoying the last days of summer and the push to get back to school.

Next weekend we have two volunteers (Beth Beckett and Ginny Spofford) on the schedule. I am out of town so if you are around please stop by and see if they need a hand.

Also, we need to begin to think about coffee again! Please send me your available Sundays for September and October. I would like to get that much of the schedule started. I thought if might be fun to do another coffee social toward the end of September and we can sign up for more days then.

Please ask friends to join our group. The more the merrier!

August Coffee Hour

Just wanted to let the rest of the August crews know we made two lemonades and two ice teas today and only used about one of each. It was pouring rain and not too hot, but the crowd was very light also.
